I am going to share with you some of the AdSense secrets that have worked well for me.

To earn through Google AdSense, it is necessary for you to have good content sites that focus on keywords for which AdSense Ads are available.

Here are some of the steps you need to follow to set up a profitable site:

1. Understand how Google AdSense works and keep that in mind while selecting the topic for your site.

Where does the money come from?

Google has a program called Google AdWords. Advertisers pay Google to display their ads on sites indexed by Google. Google shares a part of the money recieved with AdSense publishers.

Who is an AdSense publisher?

You can be an AdSense publisher.

If you create a site, apply for Google AdSense and place Google AdSense ads on your site, you are an AdSense Publisher.

How much do the advertisers pay Google?

Advertisers bid on keywords. Based on the bidding and the quality of the advertiser's site the price of the keyword is determined.

How much can a Google AdSense publisher earn?

Your earning may be 0.01 per day to any amount per site. How much you earn will depend on what keywords are in focus on your site and what ads are shown on your site. For each of those ads, the money the advertisers pay Google will be different. So your earning can be $0.01 for one click and $1.00 for another.

Why do the advertisers pay Google?

Advertisers want people to know about their products and services. They want potential customers know about their offers. So they expect someone who visits your site should click on their ad, go to their site and become their subscribers or customers.

• If you were an advertiser, you would hate to pay for illegal clicks, that is, clicks made just to get more money through Google AdSense. Remember this when you set up a site to earn through Google AdSense.

• If you were working for Google, you would be constantly watching out for people who illegally click on their own ads to increase their AdSense earnings.

Lesson For You as Google AdSense Publisher

You are the connecting link between the advertisers and the potential customers who are the visitors of your site or blog.

Understand your position and responsibility and make it a win-win situation for all.

1. Have good content on your site with specific focus on three or four related keywords.

2. Place AdSense ads in prominent places with good content sorrounding them.

3. Make the ads blend with the color scheme of your site that visitors will find pleasant.

4. Use blue color for the title of the ad - this is usually associated with clickable links.

5. Check how your ads are performing using Google Channels.

Do not get banned and spoil your own chances of earning.

1. Never click on your own ads.

2. Never ask someone to click on your own ads.

3. Do not include words such as "click here" next to the ads.

4. Do not include images near ads.

5. Do not submit an AdSense site to a "paid to surf" program.
